Northern Lights offer a range of services to entertain your wedding guests and create a memorable atmosphere for your special day.

A sophisticated and versatile programme of music can be provided by our musical ensemble to entertain guests on arrival, during the reception or any part of the wedding arrangements. Please see our Conferences and Receptions section for further details.

If a ceilidh is required for evening entertainment, Northern Lights’ ceilidh band can provide a lively programme of traditional ceilidh dancing, either for a full evening or as a shorter programme that can be followed by a disco or other musical entertainment. When guests have little or no experience of ceilidh dancing, the caller will be pleased to encourage and guide them through the steps so that everyone can join in. If a piper is required for any part of the wedding celebration, the band’s experienced Northumbrian piper is available on request.

Northern Lights always strive to fit in with the wedding arrangements and are happy to advise on how any aspect of the music can best contribute to the success and enjoyment of the day.
